Do you know what Microneedling is? It is a popular procedure that has quickly emerged as a favorite among skin patients and practitioners. Continue reading to find out what it is and how it differs from Aquagold.

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a quick, non-invasive procedure to achieve smoother and brighter skin. It uses extremely fine needles to stimulate your skin’s natural healing process and reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, acne, scars, discoloration, and wrinkles. Microneedling is a secure and clinically tested method for increasing collagen production.

How Does It Work?

It alters the skin at the cellular level to release growth factors and blood platelets. After a microneedling procedure, your skin starts producing new collagen, which plumps the skin. Scars are softened, hyperpigmentation is improved, and fine lines and wrinkles are smoother.

How Many Microneedling Treatments Do I Need?

Patients should begin with six treatments two weeks apart to get the best results. They should also use the recommended at-home medical-grade products. Most patients will continue having microneedling appointments every four to six weeks to maintain their results after finishing this initial series.

Does It Have Downtime?

Depending on your skin’s sensitivity, downtime is typically very short, lasting only one to three days. The process creates controlled wounds, so your body’s natural inflammatory response is activated immediately after treatment, which is why the skin is typically the most red right away. Your face will appear sunburned, but it will heal much faster than a sunburn. Within 24 hours of receiving treatment, redness will significantly reduce. You might want to wait until the redness has dissipated before making plans for the next day. Using sunscreen and makeup should be avoided for 24 hours. Light skin flaking may occur two to three days after the treatment. Although it will feel tight and dry, it will eventually peel off on its own.

What Is Aquagold Fine Touch Treatment?

Although similar to microneedling, Aquagold fine touch takes things a step further. This procedure infuses the skin with customized skin serums through 20 tiny needles coated in 24-karat gold, enhancing the active ingredients’ absorption through the skin’s tiny microchannels.  If you want to learn more about our Aquagold services, please, click here.

How Does It Work?

We will first determine the ideal serum combination for your skin, then the doctor will evenly distribute the solution into the target area by pressing the needle applicator into the skin in an overlapping pattern.

What is The Difference Between Aquagold and Microneedling?

Microneedling is different from the Aquagold facial. Primarily because the treatment places a lot more emphasis on the puncture/healing process, which has a significant positive impact on our skin by promoting collagen production, with microneedling, your doctor may also apply skin-benefiting solutions.

Although not painful, microneedling typically produces a more noticeable puncture effect and, as a result, tends to yield better results for those who are only interested in a needling solution to improve skin texture/elasticity. When viewed as a microinfusion system rather than a microneedling tool, the Aquagold treatment efficiently delivers the patient’s preferred solutions at a precise (and relatively shallow) depth in the skin to give microneedling benefits, emphasizing Botox delivery.

Normally, one would need to saturate the patient’s face with the solution before performing the procedure with a microneedling tool. Interestingly, this solution is automatically delivered with Aquagold, which uses less solution and introduces it more effectively into the skin. When administered in this manner, Botox does not reach muscles the same way it does when administered traditionally. As a result, altering pore size may give the patient additional advantages like smoother skin. The microchannel injector is a very flexible tool for even coverage of the face, even in those areas that are difficult to reach due to its small size and excellent maneuverability.

Why Choose Aquagold?

Unlike conventional microneedling,  Aquagold gives us the advantage of microdosing combinations of result-driven products like BOTOX, various vitamins, and hyaluronic acid solutions. These products produce a specialized elixir that helps to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pore size, even out skin tone, reduce redness and inflammation, and improve acne scars. The result is radiant and youthful skin for the next two to three months. We advise four treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, for the best results.

Does Aquagold Hurt?

You might be surprised to learn that this procedure is painless; your skin will be numbed beforehand to ensure maximum comfort, especially in sensitive areas. Because the needles on the Aquagold applicator are so small, even smaller than a hair follicle, they will puncture the skin with the tiniest, most precise holes while causing the least harm.
